Why isn’t the Microsoft SharePoint Team eating its own dog food?
First of all I want everyone to know I mean no disrespect to Community Server as it is the best .NET Community Platform for building blogs, forum and photos. This probably is why you see Microsoft using it to build their developer communities. But when it comes to the SharePoint Team with all their post about how to build a SharePoint site, wouldn’t you think that they would be using Community Kit for SharePoint – I wonder if they could emulate Community Server.
On a side note;
I know some time back I read, on the “about the beta site” on Microsoft.com that when they started running on Windows 2008 that they were going to try to run the site on Microsoft Office SharePoint Server – if so, will all the developer communities running on Community Server be transferred to SharePoint also?
